About us
About us
Thrive Church began in 1998 when Allan and Lizzie Cox planted what was then known as the Northern Congregation, as part of New Community Church. In September 2017, Thrive Church was officially established as its own expression of church life.
Over the years, we’ve gathered in various locations around town, but in 2022, we found a permanent home at Pavilion on the Park.
We are part of the Pioneer network of Churches in the UK and actively partner with local organisations and Churches that bring support and hope to our community. While we hold our unique values and mission, we are united with many Churches in affirming the Basis of faith statement of the Evangelical Alliance.
