Servant Leadership Team

At Thrive, we believe leadership is strongest when it’s shared. Our church is guided by a collaborative team committed to serving both our community and one another.
Our Senior Leadership Team, made up of six men and women, provides vision, direction, and spiritual oversight as they serve the church and wider community. Alongside them, our Ministry Leadership Team supports key areas of church life, including Worship, Prophecy, Youth, Pastoral Care, Prayer, and Young Adults.
Together, these teams work in unity to support, equip, and encourage our community—sharing the love of Jesus locally and beyond.

What to expect

To help you get started on your journey with us, we’ve highlighted a few areas of church life that you might find interesting. We can't wait to see you get involved and become part of our community!

About us

Thrive Church began in 1998 as the Northern Congregation, as part of New Community Church. In September 2017, Thrive Church was officially established as its own expression of church life.

Over the years, we’ve gathered in various locations around town, but in 2022, we found a permanent home at Pavilion on the Park.

We are part of the Pioneer network of Churches in the UK and actively partner with local organisations and Churches that bring support and hope to our community. While we hold our unique values and mission, we are united with many Churches in affirming the Basis of faith statement of the Evangelical Alliance.
