Our Community

At Thrive Church, community is at the heart of who we are. We believe life is better when we support, encourage, and journey together.

Whether through acts of kindness, prayer, volunteering, community events, or simply being there for one another, we seek to share the love of Jesus in practical ways.

Our events and activities create opportunities to connect, build friendships, and strengthen our local community. Everyone is welcome—whether you're new to the area or have lived here for years.

Below are some of the community initiatives we are involved in and support.

Community Fridge

In October 2022, Thrive Church in partnership with the Pavilion on the park opened a Community Fridge.

A community fridge is a space that brings people together to share food, meet up, learn new skills and prevent fresh food from going to waste. They’re open to all and anyone can share or take food, including surplus from supermarkets, local food businesses, producers, households and gardens.

Our team of volunteers work hard to support our community by collecting and sorting food for our community.

Opening Times: Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm and Sunday 9.30am - 12pm

Find us in the entrance hall of the Pavilion on the Park, Kingfisher Road, Eastleigh, SO50 9LH.

Our Youth work

At Thrive Church, we are passionate about helping young people grow in faith, friendship, and confidence.

Our Youth Church runs every Sunday alongside our main service for young people aged 11–17, providing a safe and engaging space to explore faith, discuss life, and discover how Jesus is relevant to everyday challenges.

We also run Thrive Youth, a fun and welcoming youth group where young people can build friendships, enjoy games and activities, explore the Bible, and have meaningful conversations about life and faith.

Throughout the year, we attend youth events across the county, giving young people opportunities to worship, hear inspiring speakers, connect with others their age, and deepen their relationship with God.

We believe every young person has value and purpose, and we are committed to helping them thrive.

Our Kids work

Thrive is a perfect place for families with young children, and we have many activities and programs designed just for them.

Every Sunday, we offer Kids Church during our service, overseen by our Kids and Youth Team. During Kids Church, your child will learn about God and the bible through play and crafts, ensuring they remain engaged as they learn. Each activity is designed to help children develop a deeper understanding of God's love while having fun and making new friends.

We also have children's groups connected to the church that meet throughout the week. These groups provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith and develop lasting relationships with others.

Throughout the year, we host events for kids and families, including fun outings, picnics, and holiday celebrations. We believe that these events offer families a chance to connect with one another and build relationships that last a lifetime.

At Thrive Church, we are committed to supporting families and helping children grow in their faith. We look forward to welcoming your family and growing together in our faith journey.

Thrive Groups

At Thrive Church, we believe that connecting with others in smaller, more intimate settings is essential to building strong relationships and growing in our faith. That's why we offer connect groups as an opportunity for our members to gather together, discuss the Bible, and encourage one another on their faith journeys. Connect groups typically meet in homes or other community spaces, allowing for a more relaxed and informal atmosphere where friendships can flourish.

If you're interested in joining a connect group, simply send us an email at info@thrivechurch.uk, and we will be happy to assign you to a group that fits your interests and schedule. Our connect groups are a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your faith, ask questions, and connect with others who share your passion for Jesus Christ.

We believe that together, we can grow in our understanding of God's word and live out our faith in our daily lives. So why not join a connect group today and take the next step in your faith journey?
